在移动硬盘/优盘中创建自己的开始菜单

现在很多人每天使用一台以上的电脑工作，例如，在家中、单位甚至路上使用不同的电脑。如何使不同电脑中的软件设置和收藏夹同步是个问题。如果使用一些免费绿色软件，就可以部分解决这个问题。因为这些软件可以安装在移动硬盘或者优盘中，可以在任意一台Windows2000以上的电脑中使用。
PortableApps 提供很多这种软件下载，并且提供了一个类似开始菜单的快捷菜单。可以选择安装标准版、Lite版或者Base版以后再添加其他软件。

除了该网站提供的软件，你也可以在菜单上添加自己的绿色软件，方法如下。
1. 在安装了套装的优盘下进入目录PortableApps
2. 新建一个目录，命名为你将要添加的绿色软件目录，例如KMPlayer
3. 将整个绿色软件复制到该目录下，并确保主程序在该目录下，例如KMPlayer.exe
4. 该绿色软件将显示在快捷菜单上，显示名称为主程序的Product Name（在属性中），例如K-MultimediaPlayer
注意，该绿色软件目录下的所有可执行文件都会显示在快捷菜单上，必要时要做一些调整，避免不必要的文件名称显示。图中红线圈起来的软件就是自己添加的软件。

U3提供了类似的功能，但是却是要收费的。相比之下，这个是免费的。
