After some times of soft reset, the PDA will not be able to synthesize with PC (you must use Activesync 4.1 or newer to synthesize if the mobile uses Windows Mobile 5.0), this is because a bug in the Windows Mobile 5.0. To resolve this problem, you need hard reset the mobile and you will lost your data. So you should backup your data first.
1. Backup the data of the mobile
To backup, a backup software is needed. SPB Backup is a good software to do this. After installing the software, make a full backup and store the file on SD card so you can restore after you hard reset the mobile.
2. Hard reset the mobile
To do hard reset, press Camera + Comm Manager key and press the soft reset once at the same time, keep pressing the Camera and Comm Manager key until the screen shows question asking you if you want to hard reset. Press the green key to hard reset.
3. Restore the data
After hard reset, install the SPB Backup on the mobile and restore the data saved.
